About P.J.Ealey (Engineering)

P.J. Ealey P.J. Ealey (Engineering) was started in 1993 by Peter Ealey to manufacture and market the Ealey Digital Tape Extensometer. The Ealey Digital Tape Extensometer was designed specifically to overcome the lack of accuracy and repeatability inherent in the aged designs of extensometer then on the market.

Peter Ealey has had 35 years experience in mechanical and civil engineering including over 10 years experience in monitoring tunnels. He has worked on the Victoria Line, the Jubilee Line, the Heathrow terminal four loop, Heathrow Terminal Five, the Waterloo International Terminal, the Heathrow Express Line, the London Docklands Railway, and the Channel Tunnel Rail Link. As well as designing the only purpose built digital tape extensometer on the market, he has also designed mechanical components for electrolevel tunnel monitoring and geotechnical instrumentation systems.
